Choose from four options:
Dental Medical examination
Routine Dental examination
Smile Analysis consultation
Specific Problem appointment
Dental Medical examination (1 hour)
Appropriate if you have not seen a dentist for a while and/or you've had significant dental work carried out in the past. The examination includes:
- A thorough review of your previous dental history.
- A comprehensive analysis and diagnosis of your current oral condition.
- Recommendation for detailed hygienist examination in appropriate cases. Recommendation for a specific oral cancer-screening test for individuals considered to be at risk.
- Provision of a full Aesthetic Smile Analysis with photographs
Your benefits
This 'one-time' review will give you the exact status of your existing dentistry, explain how you can improve matters and check whether your present level of home dental hygiene is adequate.
Approximate fee range is £120-200 (depending on number of X-rays and any additional diagnostic options).
Routine Dental examination (½ hour)
Appropriate when you have received regular dental care and had minimal previous dentistry. The examination includes:
- Visual examination of your teeth, gums and mouth.
- Two to four X-rays identifying what is not visible to the naked eye.
- A basic review of the appearance of your smile.
Your benefits
These examinations are appropriate for routine check-ups. If you are a new patient, you may consider starting with a Dental Medical, and then continuing on this level.
Our Fee is £95 plus £12-15 per x-ray
Smile Analysis consultation (½ hour)
This consultation will be appropriate if you are not happy with the appearance of your smile (either the teeth or the lips). You can use it to get a specific aesthetic opinion if another dentist is looking after your regular dental care. The consultation at Cap600 London City Dental includes:
- Evaluation of the shape, position and colour of your teeth and dental restorations.
- A study of the shape and appearance of your lips (too thin?).
- A review of what can be done if you have deep lines around your face.
- A review of options for both dental and soft tissue cosmetic work.
Your benefits
You will learn about the most modern techniques available for enhancing your appearance. In many cases, we will also help you visualize how you will look 'after' treatment.
Our Fee is £95
Specific Problem appointment (½-1 hour)
If you have pain, a broken tooth or any other kind of dental emergency, we'll try to see you on the same day. We call this 'Crisis Management'. We'll do our best to give you an appointment on the same day that you contact us. However the chances are much better, the closer to 9am you can call us.
Fee range is £50-200, depending on the treatment required. We will of course discuss the cost with you in advance, prior to starting treatment.
If you are not sure of the best first appointment, please discuss this with one of our staff on the telephone.
